Our Courses

Every class is certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI). Using our feedback manikins, we combine AHA video-based teaching, verbal instruction, printed material, and hands-on skills practice. Certification cards are provided on course completion and are valid for two years. Prefer to start online? Take the HeartCode BLS online course, then book a skills test below.

CPR Certification — BLS Certification

Our most popular class. AHA BLS is the accepted healthcare standard — for nurses, doctors, EMTs, dental professionals, therapists, and students — but you do not have to be in the healthcare field to take it.

  • Adult, child & infant CPR and AED
  • 1- and 2-rescuer scenarios
  • Use of the bag-valve mask
  • Choking — conscious and unconscious

Advanced Cardiac Life Support — ACLS

For physicians, PAs, nurse practitioners, nurses, EMS personnel, and respiratory therapists. Simulated clinical scenarios encourage active, hands-on participation through learning stations where you practice essential skills individually, as part of a team, and as team leader.

  • High-quality BLS foundation
  • Airway management & rhythm recognition
  • Team dynamics and megacode practice

Pediatric Advanced Life Support — PALS

  • Shock and cardiac arrest management
  • Team-based resuscitation practice
A workplace first aid session with a trainer demonstrating on a manikin.

First Aid with CPR/AED

Develops basic first aid knowledge, skills, and the confidence to respond. An excellent choice for the community and the workplace — warehouses, churches, construction crews, offices, babysitters, foster parents, and daycare employees.

  • First aid basics — medical & injury emergencies
  • CPR/AED — adult, child & infant
  • Rescue breaths and choking response
A Heartsaver student practising rescue breaths with a barrier mask.

Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED

For anyone with a duty to respond to a first aid or cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements — foster parents, nannies, babysitters, and daycare employees.
